Weather Warner - Quick information of the severe weather situation
The app offers easy and convenient access to the mobile pages of the DWD (German Weather Service), which provides the current weather and warnings of severe weather. There is also the current forest fire warning situation and a pollen forecast and now also a rain radar. The APP also displays the current forest fire risk and the UV index.
There are severe weather warnings for all counties and a weekly forecast of possible severe weather hazards (thunderstorms, hail, snow, ice, storms or whatever).
In addition, a background service can be activated that regularly checks the weather warnings and shows a severe weather warning on the cell phone display. The app does not need to be started for this. The region that was selected in the region window is used here. A second region can be activated in the settings.
Warnings can also be displayed in a widget. Only works if the app is NOT installed on the SD card. The widget currently updates every 60 minutes.
The app currently ONLY works for Germany.
This is NOT an official DWD app but simply an optimized browser with practical additional functions.
